V685 Cable Tester - Hipot Cable Test System
Detects Connectivity – Insulation Defects – Opens/Shorts and more… The Vitrek V685 Hipot Cable Tester is far beyond an ordinary cable tester in that it represents a comprehensive high voltage cable systems testing solution with the uncanny ability to root out circuit connectivity and insulation defects. It is a high speed cable tester, 128 multipoint(256 optional), high voltage scanning instrument that detect opens and shorts, determines and verifies insulation resistance integrity or dielectric strength withstand, measures cable resistance and capacitance. The V685 does so with three distinct operating modes; AC Voltage Withstand (AC hipot) up to 1000VRMS, DC hipot up to 1500VDC and Insulation Resistance measurement up to 1000 Meg ohms. When it comes to performance verification on circuit component connectivity elements, such as: connectivity of connectors, crimps, solder joints, diodes, relays, resistors and capacitors - The V685 has all the measurement capability you need to get the job done right. It performs all these functional checks on up to 128 test points with a standard test time as low as 100 mSec/point. The intelligent learning mode of the V685, featuring auto-scan and pin search, gets you up and testing in practically no time at all. The large LCD graphic display gives you quick and easy access to all test parameters and test data. Overall test results are enunciated with a pass/fail LED indicator and internal speaker. The versatile I/O interface has, RS-232, remote PLC I/O and a printer port.
