The Programmable V882 Precision Transformer Tester provides 20 independent test channels for faster and more efficient production transformer testing. The large LCD graphic display is accommodated with a pass/fail LED indicator and has an internal speaker for manual continuity checks. Its improved technology allows it to format up to 6 numeric digits. The versatile I/O interface has a RS-232, printer and remote control port for application programming. The V882 additionally offers optional Multi-link solution software for a more straight-forward intuitive operation. The tester includes a CE Mark Compliance safety regulation. The V882 Transformer Tester is a portable easy-to-use, unit that comes with a power cord, 4-terminal Kelvin clips, and a user’s guide are a few of the significant accessories included.

The 0.2% basic accuracy of the V882 ensures consistent, reliable and repeatable measurements over a large number of test functions. Transformer measurement test parameters include: DC Resistance (DCR), AC Resistance (ACR), Inductance (L), Leakage Inductance (LL), Capacitance (C), Magnetic’s Q factor (Q), Impedance (Z), Phase Angle (Φ) or Phase Shift, Turns Ratio and Polarity (±).

Vitrek’s Programmable V882 Precision Transformer Tester offers a wide range of test frequencies from 100Hz to 200KHz to meet the most demanding applications. The comprehensive capabilities of the V882, allow the instrument to perform tests on many different types of magnetic and passive components. The combined “meter” and “tester” operating modes of the V882 Transformer Tester permit maximum test flexibility while utilizing state-of-the-art measurement technology.
